The Marquess of Hamiltonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give the proportion of total gross domestic fixed capital formation in Great Britain which has been going into the public sector in each of the last 10 years.
§ Mr. MacDermotThe division of total gross fixed capital formation between the public and private sectors for the years 1954 to 1964 inclusive is shown in Table 49 of the Blue Book "National Income and Expenditure, 1965". Figures for the year 1965 are not yet complete but estimates for the first three quarters of that year are given in Table 6 of the Monthly Digest of Statistics.
