Mr. Charles Morrison

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what proportion of children of secondary school age is taking the school mathematics projects.

Mr. Redhead

I assume that the hon. Member is referring to children involved in any of the mathematics teaching experiments now in progress.

There are a number of such projects, and detailed statistics of the children involved are not available.
