RobinsonThe information is not available in the form requested, but of those holding nursing and midwifery administrative posts in 1964 probably about 3,700 entered their current grade less than five years earlier and about 2,000 between five and ten years earlier. Some taking such posts, particularly in the earlier period, will have retired or left the grade before 1964. I have no knowledge of vacant posts in these grades left unfilled through lack of applicants.
