§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend has recently received representations from the Greater London Council and the local authority associations that the maximum fine of £10 under the Litter Act, 1958, is too low, particularly for large-scale dumping. He has undertaken to consider their suggestions and he is now doing so.
