§ 73. Mr. Philip Noel-Bakerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will instruct Her Majesty's delegate to the United Nations to raise, as a matter threatening the peace of the world, the attacks made on Cambodian territory by Thailand guerrillas and by the Khmer Serci on the northern border between Cambodia and Thailand.
§ Mr. PadleyThese incidents on the Thai-Cambodian border have already been reported to the United Nations by both Cambodia and Thailand. Much as I deplore these disturbances in the relationship of two countries with both of whom we are on friendly terms, I do not think a British initiative in the terms suggested by my right hon. Friend would be useful or appropriate at this stage.
