§ Mr. Hefferasked the Minister of Health what plans he has to increase financial assistance to the hospitals in the North-West, especially Merseyside, as against London and the South-East.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe aim in allocating resources for hospitals is to achieve an equally good service in all regions. With this aim allocations for running costs have been weighted in favour of hospital boards in the North-West, among others. The capital allocations for building are now under review.
