asked the Secretary of State for Defence how much money has been spent so far at Diego Garcia and Aldabra, respectively, on defence installations; and what has been installed.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what steps he has taken to ensure an adequate water supply at Diego Garcia and Aldabra.

None; but in the initial surveys of the islands this was, of course, one of the subjects of examination.

Mr. Kershaw

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many Service men, and of which Services, are at present stationed at Diego Garcia and Aldabra.
