Mr. Bishop

asked the Minister of Transport what are her road proposals for the County of Nottingham, including the A46; and whether any variation is proposed for economic reasons.

The following schemes costing over£100,000are programmedA.1 provision of dual carriageways between Newark by-pass and Nottinghamshire/Kesteven boundary. A.614 dualling from Nottingham CBC boundary to roundabout junction with A.60, Loughborough Road. A.610 Nottingham CBC boundary to M.1 motorway link at Nuthall. A.60 Mansfield Inner Ring Road, Nottingham Road to Leeming Street. A.614 dualling including Clifton Bridge over River Trent. A.6008 Theatre Square improvement. A.612 London Road: widening from Station Street to Canal Street. A.610 Cinderhill roundabout to City boundary (continuation to M.1 motorway link at Nuthall in County Council area). Nottingham Inner Ring Road, eastern sector phases 1 and 2.

The starting dates will be subject to the arrangements announced on 9th February in answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Ealing, North, the right hon. Member for Rushcliffe and the hon. Member for Surbiton.
