§ Mrs. CastleThe increases under the latest supplementation scheme introduced by the Railways Board are smaller than those prescribed in the Pensions (Increase) Acts. They are retrospective to 1st January, the date on which the provisions of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1965, came into force. The new scheme is in several respects a considerable improvement on its predecessors.
