§ Mr. DarlingThe average cost of industrial materials and foodstuffs imported into the United Kingdom in 1965 was about ½ per cent. more than in 1964 and about 4 per cent. more than in 1963. The rise in these costs contributed only a small part to the increase in average retail prices last year compared with 1964.
