§ Mr. ThorntonDuring 1965, 58,016 young persons entered employment in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Region compared with 63,603 in 1964. The Ministry of Labour Region as constituted up to 1st April, 1965 comprised the East and West Ridings of Yorkshire, the City of York, and Lincolnshire. Both figures relate to that area.
