Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd

asked the Minister of Overseas Development, in offering aid to assist the economies of developing countries, what offers he makes of the services of experienced businessmen willing to advise private firms overseas; and what have been the results of such offers.

I would refer the right hon. Member to the Answer I gave him yesterday to his oral Question on this subject.

Mr. Eldon Griffiths

asked the Minister of Overseas Development whether, where the consultant services of business experts appear useful but where their pay would be beyond the capacity of many firms in developing countries, he will, on request by the Government of the country concerned, grant assistance towards the pay of such experts.

Mr. Oram

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave yesterday to the right hon. Member for Sutton Coldfield.
