§ Mr. CroslandThe number of dental students entering the pre-clinical year for the first time in October, 1965 was 740. No comparable series of figures of entry to dental schools is available for earlier years.
It is estimated that, on present building programmes, the number of entry places will have been increased to about 880 by 1969.
