§ Mr. SwinglerThe standing committee of local interests which the Manchester Ship Canal Company have set up to assist them in reconciling the needs of shipping using the canal and of road traffic has recently agreed, for the evening peak, revised times between which the bridge is not to be swung except for ocean-going ships. The committee is now considering a revision of the times for the morning peak.
