10. Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the Minister of Overseas Development if he will tabulate the financial assistance given by Her Majesty's Government to those African countries which do and do not, respectively, support the illegal Government in Rhodesia.

We are not giving financial assistance to any African country which supports the illegal régime in Rhodesia. Our total bilateral economic aid disbursed to independent African countries in the financial year 1964–65 was £69.6 million.
