§ 71. Sir W. Anstruther-Grayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give the total number of doctors in general practice in Scotland and available to the National Health Service at the last date for which statistics are available; and what were the numbers of withdrawals from, and additions to, the medical list during the 12 months preceding that date.
§ Mrs. HartAt 1st January, 1966, there were 2,618 principals in general practice in the National Health Service in Scotland. The numbers of withdrawals from, and admissions to, medical lists during the preceding 12 months are estimated to be 176 and 114 respectively.
