HC Deb 02 February 1966 vol 723 c230W
Mr. William Wilson

asked the Minister of Transport how many new pedestrian crossings were established during 1964 and 1965; and how many requests for new pedestrian crossings during those two years were refused.

Mrs. Castle

This information is not readily available and to obtain it would require a disproportionate amount of work. I do not think the expenditure of time and labour would be justified.
