HC Deb 02 February 1966 vol 723 c239W
117. Mr. Scott-Hopkins

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what deduction for the Meat Research Levy was made from deficiency payments during weeks 35, 36, 39, 40, and 41; and when there was no deficiency payment, whether the backlog was reduced by any extra payments.

Mr. Hoy

Deductions in respect of meat research levy have been made from fatstock guarantee payments for the weeks in question at the rates specified in the Meat Industry (Scientific Research Levy) Order, 1963. As to the second part of the Question, there is no backlog and no extra deductions have been made.
