§ Mr. John MorrisI understand that the Railways Board intends to publish 235W soon under Section 54 of the Transport Act, 1962, advance notice of its plans to close to passengers the line from Hurst Green Junction to Eridge in association with its intentions, announced in the Reshaping Report, of withdrawing the passenger services between Tonbridge and Brighton.
If the Board decides to go ahead with these proposals it will first invite my right hon. Friend's agreement to publication under Section 56 of the Act.
