§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he is taking to establish a Forestry Research Centre in Scotland.
§ Mr. RossThe Forestry Commission intends, as soon as circumstances permit, to increase the number of professional, scientific and supporting staff in Edinburgh from 17 to about 40. To do this a new building is required and consideration is already being given to its location.
