HC Deb 02 February 1966 vol 723 c244W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he is taking to establish a Forestry Research Centre in Scotland.

Mr. Ross

The Forestry Commission intends, as soon as circumstances permit, to increase the number of professional, scientific and supporting staff in Edinburgh from 17 to about 40. To do this a new building is required and consideration is already being given to its location.
