§ Mr. Robert Cookeasked the Minister of Health what steps are being taken by the Board of Governors of the United Bristol Hospitals to remedy the nuisance caused to the residents of the Kingsdown area of Bristol by smuts from their new boiler house chimney.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonI understand that the smuts have been greatly reduced since the beginning of November and that no complaints have been received since then. The Board is making every effort, together with its consulting engineers and the engineering advisers in my Department, to ensure that the trouble is completely eliminated.
