§ Mr. Oswaldasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will now make a statement about the approval of the Charter for the proposed Heriot-Watt University.
§ Mr. RossI am happy to inform my hon. Friend that Her Majesty was yesterday pleased to approve that a Charter should be granted to the new Heriot-Watt University. I shall place in the Library a copy of the Order in Council approving the grant of the Charter as soon as it is available.
