HC Deb 21 December 1966 vol 738 c354W
Mr. Rankin

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs what mechanism he proposes using to keep wages and production in line.

Mr. Albu

As my hon. Friend knows, the Government attach great importance to the development of its policy for productivity, prices and incomes, and will continue its consultations with the Confederation of British Industry, the Trades Union Congress and other interested parties to ensure that increases in money incomes are kept in line with increases in real national output.
