asked Her Majesty's Government:

When it is intended in the interests of industry to amend the patent law of prior claiming to prevent separate patents being granted for the same invention to numerous inventors each of whom can demand royalties for use of the invention.

My right honourable friend the President of the Board of Trade is aware that the law on this point calls for attention. A number of matters affecting patents demand review and he hopes to carry this out before long.
