HC Deb 21 December 1966 vol 738 c354W
106. Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is satisfied with the present arrangements whereby elderly and infirm passengers may proceed on ground level directly to the aircraft at the civil airport at Aldergrove in County Antrim; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Mason

These arrangements have worked satisfactorily since the opening of the airport. The current building operations have, however, necessitated some minor re-routing and I regret that, though for two days only, wheel chairs had to be carried up three steps.
