§ Mr. Wallaceasked the President of the Board of Trade what discussions he has had about the rise in prices for men's haircuts, in particular about the removal of the price differential between adults and juveniles; and what action he will take to stop these rises.
§ Mr. JayMy Department has taken steps to ensure that the National Federation of Hairdressers is aware of the Government policy on prices. All complaints received about increases are investigated and I shall take any further action which appears to be necessary. Only two complaints have involved the price differential between adults and juveniles.
