§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesThe Welsh Office started at the end of 1964 with one Permanent Secretary, one Under-Secretary and two Assistant Secretaries. As further work was transferred to it from other Departments, this complement was increased and now amounts to one Permanent Secretary, two Under-Secretaries and six Assistant Secretaies.
