§ Mr. Weatherillasked the Minister of Labour if, in view of the hardship cause to disabled workers resulting from the Government's redeployment policies, he will now exempt employers of registered disabled men and women from payment of the Selective Employment Tax.
§ Mr. GunterThe Government has said that it will consider possible changes in the Selective Employment Tax in the light of experience of its working. During recent months the increase in unemployment among the disabled has been proportionately less than the increase in total unemployment.
