§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Transport whether she is aware of the difficulties and confusion caused in certain areas of the country where parking meter charges are lifted on a Saturday although parking restrictions at parking meter bays are still enforced, and that visitors to these areas are often of the opinion that as charges are not made for parking, no parking restrictions are enforced; and whether she will seek to ensure, by legislation or otherwise, that notices are exhibited in these areas to inform the public of the position.
§ Mr. SwinglerMotorists who obey Parking Meter Zone Entry signs, instructions on parking meter plates and other traffic signs in a meter zone should not experience any difficulty or confusion.
