§ Mr. RossAt 30th September, 1965 there were 545 doctors in Scottish hospital (15.3 per cent. of the total) who had been born overseas. Corresponding information about general practitioners is not readily available, but at the same date 14 principals on the medical lists of Scottish Executive Councils (0.5 per cent. of the total) had foreign or Commonwealth qualifications.
