§ Mr. MacCollThe following table shows the expenditure of local authorities per head of population on the principal services in England and Wales respectively in 1964–65 on both revenue and capital account, distinguishing in the case of revenue expenditure between gross expenditure and expenditure net of income from rents, fees and other recoupments. The figures take no account of government grants.
