§ 91. Mr. Dobsonasked the Minister of Health why the number of patients on the waiting list at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, has increased from 2,043 in 1962, to 4,630 in 1966; and how he proposes to reduce the waiting list.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe main reason is the large increase in the number of patients awaiting plastic surgery, due in part to the closure of the theatre for a time in 1965 for improvements. Work is in progress or will start next year on several major schemes to improve hospital provision in Bristol. These include the provision of new thoracic theatres at Frenchay.
