§ 34. Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will seek to amend the Rent Acts to ensure that the courts may only grant orders for possession to those landlords who need possession for their own use or for that of their families or where there is a failure to pay rent.
§ Mr. MacCollI am aware of the particular case in which my hon. Friend is concerned, but the law was under review only last year and my right hon. Friend cannot do more at this stage than take note of his suggestion.
