§ Mr. GunterThe estimated total number of workers coming within the field of operation of Wages Councils in Great Britain is 3½ million. The number earning more than the minimum rates is not known.
I understand from my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture that an estimated 400,000 workers are covered by the Agricultural Wages Boards of whom approximately 325,000 earn more than the minimum rates.
