HC Deb 02 December 1966 vol 737 c176W
Mrs. McKay

asked the Minister of Social Security if she will introduce legislation to provide all disabled women with pensions large enough to pay for a helper, so that the home can be maintained, and, by avoiding dispersal to institutions, unhappiness and needless expense avoided.

Miss Herbison

As my hon. Friend knows, the Government are well aware of the difficulties of all the various groups of disabled people, including those disabled women she has in mind. We are continuing our study of the problems they raise.
