§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Minister of Overseas Development which ten countries in 1965 received the greatest amounts from private investment in the figures included in the British aid programme; and how much South Africa has received under this heading in each of the last five years.
§ Mr. OramPrivate investment is not included in the aid programme; the remainder of my hon. Friend's question does not therefore arise. If, however, he is thinking of figures for private investment in the developing countries which, although not part of the aid programme, a re reported to the Development Assistance Committee, these do not include investment in the Republic of South Africa which is not classed as a developing country.
