Mr. Colin Jacksonasked the Minister of Labour how many requests he has received from Government Departments and other organisations, respectively, for 463W him to invoke the provisions of Section 14 of the Industrial Training Act; what action was taken on these requests; and what is the estimated expenditure on the implementation of this Section during the current financial year.
§ Mr. GunterNone and two. I have not yet requested a Training Board to exercise functions under Section 14 of the Act, but I am in close touch with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Overseas Development on this subject. I am unable to estimate what additional Government expenditure would be incurred during the current financial year if the section were implemented.
