Mr. Gresham Cookeasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the Government's economic policy, she will give an assurance that the provision made in the White Paper on Transport Policy for Exchequer expenditure on new roads and major improvements in Great Britain to rise to £280 million, at constant prices, by 1970 will be fulfilled.
