As regards the second part of this question, the standstill on beer prices which with certain exceptions has been operating for some considerable time, rests on the voluntary co-operation of those concerned in the same way as the general standstill on other prices and incomes which was announced by the Prime Minister in his statement to the House on 20th July last.
