§ Mr. Blakerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the progress achieved towards improving the peacekeeping machinery of the United Nations.
§ Mrs. WhiteDiscussions have been continuing in the United Nations Committee of 33 since the last General Assembly. The aim of these discussions has been to improve the peacekeeping machinery of the United Nations. It is expected that the subject of peacekeeping will be debated further at the forthcoming Session of the General Assembly.
