Friend met representatives of the Civil Engineering Research Association and of the industry and associated professions, as a result of which revised proposals for the establishment of a Construction Industry Research and Information Association are now under consideration by the parties concerned. We hope that this matter may now be brought to a speedy conclusion and that the expansion of research and development, and the institution of an adequate information and advisory service for this industry, may soon be put in hand,
