§ 37. Mr. Hoggasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what consideration he has given to the evidence, brought to his attention by the hon. Member for St. Marylebone, of the circulation through the post of literature designed to re-establish belief of the discredited and notoriously forged document entitled "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" as an offence against the Race Relations Act; and what steps he has taken to identify those responsible.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI referred the document to the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. Although he has made extensive inquiries there is insufficient evidence to enable the sender to be identified, and it is not therefore possible to consider proceedings under the Race Relations Act.
