HC Deb 04 August 1966 vol 733 c192W
Mr. Roebuck

asked the Minister of Transport if she will make a statement about the new types of pedestrian crossing which her Department is considering for use at places where people have difficulty crossing roads at periods of peak traffic density; and what plans she has to make Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, the site of an experiment for this proposed new system.

Mr. John Morris

My right hon. Friend hopes to be able to make an announcement soon about the new type of pedestrian crossing. In the meantime discussions are being held with the Greater London Council about its possible use at sites such as Honeypot Lane.
