Apart from staff transferred from other Government Departments with their work, the figures represent an increase of (463 full time and 110 part time including Sandwich Students) between October, 1964 (when the Department was established) and 1st July, 1966, of whom 298 full time and 41 part time staff were added after 1st August, 1965.
