§ Mr. Symondsasked the President of the Board of Trade, in view of there being over 3 8 per cent. unemployed in the Whitehaven and Cleator Moor area, what proposals he has to relieve this unemployment.
§ Mr. DarlingThe first advance factory of 25,000 sq. ft. at Cleator Moor is due for completion within a month and the second, of 10,000 sq. ft. by the end of the year. All practicable efforts are being made to find tenants for these factories.
