§ Mr. GunterThe numbers of work permits issued for the employment of aliens in the years 1960 to 1964 inclusive were 50,355, 51,775, 48,230, 43,868, and 47,638 respectively. Permits are already restricted to work for which British labour is not available and no further limitation on numbers is proposed.
