§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will amend the cremation regulations so as to allow cremation to take place despite written declaration to the contrary and a change of view.
§ Mr. George ThomasThe Cremation Regulations 1965, which came into operation on 1st June, revoked the provision in the previous Regulations which prohibited the cremation of the body of a person who had left a written direction to the contrary.
