§ 60. Mr. Weatherillasked the Minister of Labour, what proposals he has for ensuring that men being retrained in Government training centres have the same chance of attaining acceptance as skilled workers as those who have served a craft apprenticeship.
§ Mr. GunterPlacings of men after training in Government Training Centres are made in accordance with agreements with representatives of employers associations and trade unions in the trade concerned. In general they secure that trainees are accepted into jobs where they can use the skills which they have learned at the centre.
