§ Mr. Urwinasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will consult the Minister of Power and the National Coal Board with a view to assessing the number of new jobs likely to be required as a result of the pit closures announced on 18th November, 1965.
§ Mr. DarlingMy right hon. Friend, with whom I am in close touch, will be dealing generally with these matters in the debate this afternoon. I can assure my hon. Friend that there is full consultation locally between the Board of Trade Controllers and representatives of the National Coal Board.
