§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs if he will give a detailed list of those persons, other than established staff civil servants, who assisted him in drawing up the Government's National Plan, Command Paper No. 2764.
§ Mr. George BrownIt is not practicable to give a detailed list of such persons. In addition to the temporary staff employed in the Department of Economic Affairs and other Government Departments the preparation of the Plan involved the members of the National Economic Development Council and the staff of their office, the members of the industrial Economic Development Committees, and the officers and staff of a large number of private and public industrial organisations, including the nationalised industries as well as trade associations and trade unions.
